The industrial output of North America is heavily contributed by two nations they are USA and Canada. Lets locate the places in USA first. USA is such a massive nation hence to understand better the industrial units have been broadly divided in regions, and there are six regions.

Biosphere Reserves in India with Location

Biospheres reserves are area where flora and fauna are protected. The Indian government has established 18 Biosphere Reserves. You will find national parks and wildlife sanctuaries residing withing a Biosphere reserve. 

In fact biosphere is a nice combination where land, water and air organism interact with each other. Below are the list of Biosphere Reserves located in India.

Coal deposits and mines in India

India has a long history of commercial coal mining, It started off during the East India Company days when British found coal in the Raniganj Coalfield along the river Damodar. At the time the demand was not that high, but it grew with the introduction of steam locomotives in 1853. So this is the history of Coal mining in India.

Right now India has a cumulative reserve of more than 300 Billion tonnes of coal.

Nuclear Power Plants in India

A nuclear power plant is a thermal power station in which the heat source is a nuclear reactor. The heat is then used to generate steam which drives a steam turbine connected to an electric generator which produces electricity. Heat is generated by splitting the Uranium atoms which is also known as Nuclear Fission (division or splitting into two or more parts).

According to United Nations estimates, the world population will increase to 11.2 billion in the year 2100. This is greater than the entire previous history of humanity. For any country, keeping a track of its population growth is an essential requirement. Population is comprised of age and sex structure and by monitoring this data any nation's government can tackle problems related to unemployment, infrastructure, demand, supply etc, which in turn will expand nation's GDP and boost rapid economic development.

What do we mean by Age-Sex Pyramid?

It simply refers to the number of females and males in different age groups. Good amount of information about the population is broken down by age and sex and it can be read from a population pyramid.

Now it also tells us how a population changes over time. By that, i mean whats the birth rate, death rate and life expectancy of people in a country.
